They were robbed last year but i still dont think they have the best team in the West regardless. Dallas is still strong and probably the powerhouse of the West. San Antonio is old and is going to decline this year.

Phoenix certainly should be considered serious contenders for 2008 along with the Spurs, Nuggets, Celtics, and Mavericks. Their are several other teams that could step up and get in the mix as well.

As for being robbed, the series between the Suns and Spurs was commonly referred to as the "real" nba finals with the winner expected to move through the following rounds with relative ease. The enitre Horry incedent certainly took away any hope the Suns had of moving on. However it wasn't a sure thing that they would have. It was a highly competitive series up until the suspensions, it could have gone either way. It's just sad we will never know what would have happened.

The Suns will win in the event that they beat the Spurs. Their truthfully risk is the Spurs. If Phoenix can run the court docket docket and administration the %. they win unquestionably. The Suns risk-free practices is the offense. speedy photos and stress you to play the way the Suns play which does not paintings for the opponent. Nash drives to the hollow, if no one is open he makes the layup, if some one is open he kicks it out and that guy makes the 3pt shot or makes the greater useful bypass to somebody else who does. Barbosa isn't any doubt one among the quickest person adult men indoors the league and whilst he gets indoors the open court docket docket on the fastbreak the risk-free practices could prefer to as properly furnish up they gained't be waiting to seize as much as him, Marion can score from everywhere and could have been on the all risk-free practices group, yet Raja Bell grew to become into on the all risk-free practices group, Amare is lower back and greater beneficial helpful than ever with Nash playin' the surprising ball that he's achieved his finished profession. the Suns have way too plenty fire potential for each physique to deal with. GS, Houston, or Utah could be unable to overcome Phoenix and no physique indoors the east could prefer to take out the Suns. NBA Champions: The Phoenix Suns!!!!!!!

I think that the Suns were robbed last year. Bad breaks went against them especially with the decision of the league to hand out the suspensions to Amare and Boris. I felt that David Stern favored that decision and it was the turning point of the Suns-Spurs series. I think that the Suns would have advanced and would have won the title. I hope that this year would be different with Grant Hill added as one of the missing pieces. I hope that the breaks would not go against them as well. I'm looking forward to watching them this season.

Phoenix might possibly win the 2008 NBA Finals particularly if they somehow miss playing the Spurs in the 2008 playoffs and barring injury to Steve Nash.

No, Phoenix was not robbed of the 2007 NBA championship in the fourth round of the NBA playoffs as Phoenix only made it to Game 6 of a 7 game series in Round Two of the 2007 NBA playoffs. Had Phoenix made it a seven game series in Round Two, then, possibly Phoenix and Phoenix fans could justify that they could then win two more playoff series, but Phoenix did not even make it past Game Six of Round Two of the 2007 NBA playoffs losing 4 games to two games as Phoenix only won 2 games with their entire roster and lineup for 5 full games in that Round Two 2007 NBA playoff series, so it is hard to justify how Phoenix could have won the 2007 NBA title when Phoenix could only win 2 games out of 5 games in Round Two with a complete and full lineup and roster as a team has to win 4 games to win a 7 game series and Phoenix did not even come close to doing this in 2007.

NO!!! They are an offensive powerhouse there is no question about that... But every player on the roster is a defensive liability... NOT JUST NASH EVERY ONE OF THEM!!! If you can't stop the other team from scoring you can't win a 7 game series.

Sorry they will get through the first round as usual, but when they get into the elite teams of the west they just cant contend.

I think they are a great team but the Spurs are a team with a lot of experience. The Spurs have taken it every other year for 6 (I think) years....they deserved it.
They work hard for it. Sorry. I really do like the Suns and if the Spurs don't take it I hope they do.

I AM A LONG TIME, DIE HARD SUN'S FAN. I THINK THEY CAME CLOSE LAST YEAR BUT TOOK THEMSELVES OUT OF THE PICTURE WHEN PLAYERS WERE SUSPENDED DURING THE ROBERT HORRY INCIDENT IN THE SERIES WITH SAN ANTONIO. THAT CLEVER HORRY DID MORE TO HAND HIS TEAM THE CHAMPIONSHIP THAN ANY OTHER SPUR PLAYER.

I CAN ONLY HOPE THAT THE SUNS WILL BE A BETTER AND MORE EXPERIENCED TEAM NEXT SEASON. THEY HAVE THE TALENT TO GO ALL THE WAY BUT LACKED EXPERIENCE AND TOUGHNESS. STEVE NASH IS NOT ONLY ONE OF THE BEST PLAYERS IN THE NBA, HE IS ONE OF THE SMARTEST AND MOST DISCIPLINED. I HOPE HE EARNS A RING.

They need a better shotblocking center on defense. Amare Stoudemire is not good enough defensively to fuel their fast break attack to a championship. Unless they find someone to swat shots like he's alergic to them, they will just have to settle for making playoffs.
