Yes!! they bloody should!
But instead they come out with "we were within the boundaries of good parenting"!!!!!
It beggars belief, it really does!
I personally would have thought omg they made a terrible mistake, had they admitted to it!!
But to go on international TV and say they done nothing wrong really pisses me off!!
And then..then..they still left their two most precious possessions in the world at the creche!!!!

Yes you are right, they should say sorry, what makes me laugh is the people on here that say they should not say sorry to the public why not of course they should, they made it public in the first place and there is also a 1.2 million fund been donated by the public, so yes they should say sorry its the least they could do, also if they did this they might just get a bit more support from the public which they asked for in the first place, they are bad parents they had a history of leaving there children and they have paided for that and i feel bad about saying this but they got what was coming too them, i mean leaving 3 kids with the door open seems strange to me, the funny thing is they are middle class people and kate mccann is a locum GP she would be the first to lay judgement on other people if it happened to some one else in this manner she has a cheek and a very sick ego, they should go to court and pay for neglecting there children and the social services should be taking those other kids from them. its harsh i know but its the truth, weather they had anything to do with it well thats another matter.

Yes, I think what the McCanns need to do is admit publicly that they made a mistake in leaving the children alone. This seems to be the one major area that people cannot understand and why so many people seem to be 'against' them.

They appear arrogant and uncaring and refuse to admit they did anything wrong. If they want public sympathy they should just come out and say "We were wrong, we should never have left the children alone, we will never be able to forgive ourselves". I think a lot of people's attitude would soften towards them, and if their PR man is any good, that's exactly what he should be telling them to do. And to show some emotion.

the main important risk is genuinely that she might ask your self off. The McCanns want to assert the room replaced into locked/unlocked with the intention to in fantastic condition fairly some circumstances. Wasn't there some suspicion that the 'injury-in' have been staged, and later some tale that somebody had walked in through a door then 'broken out' of a window - with the intention to make the 'crime' in fantastic condition the 'information'. The sighting of the guy carrying Madeleine away did not in fantastic condition with the door/window circumstances i've got faith. Scotland backyard comprehend a thank you to inspect this good. possibly they are loose to make arrests too in the event that they locate evidence, on account that English regulation applies in a foreign country to uk matters I seem to bear in suggestions studying.

I know I find the McCanns suspicious, and I've done my speculating and I may do more....

but even I must say it's none of our business when it comes to apologising.....

The only people they owe an apology to are their children and all the services out looking for Maddie.....

I see no reason why they should say sorry to the public at all......

Any apology they might make should go to their children, not the general public. However, if they admitted that leaving their children alone was a terrible mistake, it would be a step in the right direction towards more sympathy for their loss. As it is they don't even think they did any wrong, which I find unbelievable considering their chosen careers. If they don't admit to their mistakes, other likeminded parents will think it is perfectly alright to leave their kids alone.

To the person who said 'let he who is without sin' etc I think you will find that the majority of people would not leave their children unattended at home, let alone in a foreign country. As a young parent, when we were on a low income and could not afford nights out and babysitters, we chose to not go out, rather than leave our children uncared for, that is called good parenting.

I agree totally. Although I do not believe the McCanns killed their daughter, they did neglect her, and her siblings, and I think they would be thought of a whole lot better if they publically apollogised,to the general public, the media, and police, but more importantly to Maddie.

Absolutely not!
By asking them to publicly apologize for there actions is making celebrities out of them. This is what they want.
This is between the law (which I hope will act on the McCanns neglect), God and Maddie.

Its not ok to leave your children full stop. If it had been a teenage single mother who had left her child she would have been hounded to death by the press. Just because they are white middle class doctors doesnt mean its ok. Its not fair that lots of people have donated to that fund and still there is no real admission that they are actually sorry for their child while they are evidently sorry for themselves at the moment. I feel sorry for the child she is the real victim while her parents were on a jolly up with their mates.

Does the death or whatever of one child, however tragic, demand the hounding of the parents by a lynch-mob with you at the head?

Even though it might be meaningless, does every motorist who kills an innocent party have to apologise publicly ?
