The better processor?

What do you think would be better? the amd fx-62 or the amd athlon 64 x2 5600+? They seemed very close in benchmarks and are now close to the same price.

X2 5600+ runs at the same speed but is more efficient at 89watts vs 125watts for FX-62.

BUT take note that the FX-62 is in an obsolete socket platform (socket 939 and 940). X2 5600+ is in the current AM2 platform. Although AM2 has same number of pins, it is different from socket 940.

AMD Athlon 64 x2 5600 is better than AMD fx-62.

the fx, they are always better quality
