For a player to make all 3 outs, at least 19 players would have to come to the plate in the inning - with 3 outs and 3 left on base, the minimum scoring would have to be 13 runs. I'm sure players have come to bat 3 times in one inning, but have they ever made all 3 outs?

answer = no, not in professional play. What would be funny, is if a baseball player struck out 3 times in one inning, a picked up an rbi and run for each strikeout (catcher doesnt maintain control of 3rd strike, batter reaches first with bases loaded). I remember when here in st.louis, Fernando Tatis, hit 2 grand slams... In the same inning. Thats wierd, and now hes with some minor league team and cant hit more than 10 Hr a year.

If i had already hit into two outs and i came up again, Obviously we will already be winning by a great margin (our team has batted around 3 times). I would just say the hell with it, and make sure I end up as a trivia question, I would swing at anything he threw and purposely hit nothing but air. "the guy who was all 3 outs in one innning", thats waht they would call me... whenever they werent calling me the greatest home run hitter ever that is.

April 13, 1984, Lance Parrish was responsible for all 3 outs in the first inning of Det vs Boston. His number was 13, he made the last 2 outs as the 13th batter in the inning of Friday the 13. I believe he was the 13 person in history at that time to make all 3 outs in an inning. I was a DIE HARD DETROIT TIGER FAN AT THE TIME I REMEMBER IT LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY.

This just came up as a strange fact about yourself for a New Years Eve Party. I actually did this in High School in Chattanooga, TN. I was forced out at second twice and struck out, in one inning. I finished the game 4 for 7 but made the paper for recording all three outs in one inning.

No, although in 1976 a player by the name of John something (can't remember his last name) did get 2 outs in the same inning, and had the opportunity to make the 3rd out, but he hit safely on base and the next batter got the last out. Just so you know he was the lead off batter.

Only in the video games my friend.

You need to have an extremely good lineup and go up against terrible pitching/defense in order to bat around three times.
