I get this error:

"Could not save file as [file path] because the file is locked."

It tells me to unlock it by going into "properties" for that particular file, but it's not set as "Read only"!

Can you help me solve this?

Are you sure you do not have the file open by another application? Save the file as another name, reboot your pc to make sure all applications have been closed then go to My Computer and navigate to your file, rename the original to something else then rename the new file to the original files name.

It isn't locked as a permission rather the file is probably in use by another application. You may want to save the file with another name, exit the application, delete the old copy, and rename the new one to the old name.

Check the permissions on the file. (Open Properties, then click the Security tab.)
