! means factorial, which means that you multiply that term by every integer less than that until you reach one.

ex: 5! is 5x4x3x2x1

0! is 1.

Only applies for positive integers

! is used to denote a "factorial", or if you have an integer m, m! = 1*2*3.....*m, or the product of integers from 1 to m. Actually, m needs NOT be an integer, but that would be extra-extra credit.

Factorial. only a valid operation for Integers greater than or equal to zero. Read as Factorial.
i.e. 2! is read as "two factorial"

0!=1
other factorials are evaulated by multiplying that integer and every positive integer of lesser value.
3! = 3 * 2 * 1 = 6

AREA is defined as '' The size of a surface. The amount of space inside the boundary of a flat (2-dimensional) object such as a triangle or circle. In terms of width and length take a rectangle for example and imagine you draw horizontal lines across the whole box starting at the top about the same distance apart right down through the box, now make lines the other way straight up and down - Now number each box starting in the top LHS corner and finish up in the bottom RHS corner. You may have 6 boxes reading from left to right along the top and as you progress down you may have 7 rows to deal with. HOW MANY BOXES will you have altogether, try it! Doesnt matter how many you draw thats up to you BUT dont have too many otherwise you will be all day numbering them. Try 4 along and 6 down and count how many boxes you have altogether. You should get 4 x 6 = 24 So imagine this as your TOTAL BOX full of squares/sweets whatever you now have 24 units of boxes...................THIS IS THE TOTAL AREA OF YOUR BOX

5! = 5*4*3*2*1
8! = 8*7*6*5*4*3*2*1

0! = 1 and n! = n (n-1)!
