why do celebs abuse drugs? Some of them are better than what they act.

I think it's because it's easier for celebrities to obtain and get away with drug use because they are famous. People seem to turn a blind eye, even though they're in the spotlight so much. Once someone is addicted, it's very hard to quit, no matter what kinds of repercussions they are facing.

i think they abse drugs because they are under so much pressure and just want to find a way to escape from it.......some of them think that doin drugs will just make the pressure go away......really it just makes things worse and puts more pressure on them and if its found out by the public could ruin their carreer...its really sad for them or anyone to abuse drugs and i pray for those people evryday in hopes that they will get better:-)

They don't all abuse drugs, but they do have a --lot-- of free time and a --lot-- of money, and they run into a --lot-- of different people. So they just have a better chance of being tempted by (and being able to afford) illegal substances.

I think it is because Hollywood has so many drug pushers. All those celebrity hangers need something to keep them close to the stars, and drug addictions are a main tool they use.

i think it's prob juz 2 get attention nd make ppl believe that their lives are sooo "hard" that they can't do it w/o drugs nd 2 b the next face on the magazines cover

It is just part of Hollywood. Obviously their is a lot of pressure and they take the easy way out.

Publicity, be it gud or bad.They crave publicity and can't live without a day passing by without hearing their name in the news.

I think that they are so caught up in living the life that they don't stop and think about what they are actually doing. When they get that first buzz, they just can't stop.

Not all of them do, you just never hear about the one's who never have any problems because there's no headlines to that. So no one cares. Sad really.
