My best friend is planning on moving to Prague next year to teach, and is bringing her 16 month old daughter (who will be 2 by than). Where could she find a reasonable babysitter or nanny? Also, any other information you could give me on Prague that she should know would be so helpful!

SO helpful when moving to Prague. It's made just for english speakers living there. I bought furniture, found a dog sitter and made friends from it.
I don't know much about nannies, but I did have to go live there for a year about 5 years back and this site will help find anything.
Prague is great, I hope she enjoys and you will have a chance to visit:)

Hello, my name is Petra Veselá, I am 24 year old girl living in Prague. I am 5th year medical student at Charles university. Since 2001 I have been regullary babysitting in Czech as well as English or German speaking families. The kids have been aged 3 moths to 14 years. I spent 14 months in Ireland as au-pair where I took care of 3 kids aged 18 months to 6 years and another 4 months in England where I was looking after 10 year old boy with spastic form of cerebral palsy.
