Hi Marjorie! What it means is that you don't have enough memory (RAM) or hard drive space. Adding memory is a very inexpensive way to up your resources and actually, so is the addition of another hard drive. I have 3 hard drives...one internal and two external that are connected by a USB wire. They're great and can be "taken with you" if you change computers or if you simply wish to take some files to work and do whatever you wish with them.

As I said, memory doesn't cost much at all and you should always add as much memory as you can to your particular computer. Look in your booklet and find your spec pages. It will tell you there, how much RAM your machine will accept. Another thing that will keep you up and running is to clean up your drive space frequently. Defrag once a week and get yourself a small program that does big things from http://www.easycleaner.com. This will clean up your registry, dump your unnecessary and temp files and much more. Best of all, it's free! Do your spy-ware and virus checks regularly. All this will help to keep your computer running smoothly as will ridding yourself of unnecessary programs and files. Good luck!
