The result would be the airport process at the sports gates. LIttle grandma's with white hair will be searched right next to the man wearing a turban and a jacket that seems to be packed with more than a big belly.

No great loss. Not really even stupid Americans do not need to be hurt. Everyone would have knee-jerk reaction and stop attending sporting events. This would mean that the owners would not make the obscene amounts of money they make, so they would cut the salaries to the players. Then we would have less thugs millionaires (OJ Simpson is a prime example!). Then we would have less teams. Then we would need fewer stadiums. Then we have more money to spend on the infrastructure of our towns such as roads, schools, etc....
Was I talking about the bad or the good? Seems the good was outweighing the bad!
So maybe we could just put OJ and the other criminally oriented players in a stadium and that will be the group that is attacked! Then the end result may not be that bad! Just joking......?

Well... they would end up taking out a good percentage of middle class people and not the people they really want to get...
They would have to make sure they aimed at the skybox.
There has always been a bit of a correlation between "sports fans" and "religious people"...
Why would a terrorist (in the religious sense) want to hurt the people that they could most easily manipulate?
I think schools, airports and business centers are at more of a risk.... the sporting events are safe because they appeal to the "fox news" crowd...
NASCAR would be the safest... provided they don't continue to blow themselves up and run cars into crowds of their own fans by accident...

They'd have to target each and every sporting event in the United States on the same day to make an impact. So far,all they've been able to do is blow up a few cars in Iraq. Maybe they're just honing their skills. It's been six years, God only knows how much longer it will take them to target our sporting world. In other words,I cant even think about something that far fetched.

MLB there would be a response.
However it was lets say NHL and you tick off those fans......lets say it won't be pretty.
NFL- Watch a team like Green Bay and look at their fans in the sub-zero without shirts on scream like madmen for the entire game with their war paint on. Now you imagine that person coming at you?
It would even William Wallace think twice.
Attacking a sporting event would strike something very deep in our collective soul that would truly bring out the animal is us.
That terrorists won't know how to deal with and it would bind the Muslims here with the nation.
It would be a very short war on Muslim terrorism because they would be dead or converted before Human Rights would get to a keyboard.

The "terrorist acts" that have struck panic into citizens like yourself, have been in assoociation with our government. It would depend on how many more innocent American citizens' deaths our government is willing to allow.
Do some real research.
Please.
Even during Clinton's administration, when Clinton aided a middle-eastern man's escape from America. A middle-eastern man, who witnesses saw running from the scene of the Oklahoma City bombings alongside the man who was arrested for the crime. When FBI agents caught him, and informed the president that they had a man responsible for the attack, Clinton promptly ordered his release, upsetting a number of federal agents who went public.
Please educate yourselves!
Find time to watch the videos on my links, and show them to friends and family.
The truth may be hard to accept, but please watch the videos with an open mind; think about what you see.
Innocent Americans have been held in a condemned concentration camp-like location, dangerously infected with asbestos, at Pier 57 in New York. The majority of them peaceful protestors.
Please. Learn the facts.
PLEASE.
We're losing our freedoms, and losing everything it used to mean, to be an American.

we already this happen last year though it was underreported as a muslim terrorist attack against a sporting event and its attendants and participants.
at OKU football game a "convert" to islam, white dude, accidentallly blew himself up before he was able to enter the game.
had he made it inside and murdered a few hundred people?
then our sporting events would turn into a nightmare akin to our airports now. low paid moron security feeling up your crotch looking for things that aren't there.
attendance would likely suffer for a year or two like after the '94 baseball cry baby strike.

Result would be devastating on sports in general, like airlines went bankrupt because people were scared to fly, the same would happen here. Most people would stay and watch from home.
There would be a retaliation and probably blamed on another oil rich country or one that needed to pass oil pipes through.

The Us would grow fat and lazy? ---- ooops, we are already doing that...
How about a few brain-dead sports fans and over-paid athletes will make their final appearance. What would be worse than the actual event would be the incessant News, Memorials, yadda-yadda-yadda, followed by an invasion of Uruguay

Before 9/11, I would have said, that it would NEVER happen. Now, I mean airport security is supposed to be "safe", but this is possible. If it did happen, Bush would be in deep s*^t and the whole country would panic.
