had an ectopic in november last year.. periods returned to normal after 6 months. had normal cycle last week. but been feeling sick for a week but thought nothing of it untill today i started bleeding and got period cramps.. what could it be am i worring about nothing.....

first i want to say, my heart goes out to you. 4 years ago, i had what is called "a missed abortion" it means the fetus just died, no known reason. are you currently on birth control, or are you trying to get pregnant again? I had a lot of fluctuation with my cycles, break through bleeding in the months after my d&c, and i was on the pill. i am a strong believer in home pregnancy test. take one see if it gives any indication of pregnancy, if positive it could mean what is going on is another complication of pregnancy. if the test is negative, relax a little and call your doctor. best wishes to you.

You need to go see your doctor right away. It sounds like it could just be having another period (it happens more often with added stress) or you could have something serious.
Either way, the only thing that can help is a visit to your OB.
