Are there in any other programs that can tell you what grade level you are currently writing like MS Word can? (I don't have MS Word-- if I can download it somewhere, please do tell.)

**Not how many words, but for example if you write at the level a 10th grader could understand, it would read something along these lines: "Writing Level: 10.0" For 10th grade.

Let the school you attend provide an aptitude test for you. Don't be discouraged. Though I like tests and am a firm believer in accurate ones, all are not what they're "cracked up" to be. In other words if you take one and it's not as you imagined regarding your skills, take heart: The grading system isn't always as objective as the subject (ie:you and I) wish it to be. Good luck to you!

I don't understand the question. Do you mean how many words you have written? Or what level you are on in your writing?
