You can start right after because by the time you deliver, or have another c-section, it will long enough for your body to heal.
You should get started real soon, adhesions can occur after surgery, so get cracking.

3 years is too long after a normal c-section. An average C-section involves cutting of the muscles and tissue, so as long as that is healed up, there is no danger to carrying a baby at any time because of one. This doesn't make sense to me. I have never heard of a half C-section. They either do it or they don't.
At any rate, once the muscles heal, which is in a few weeks, it's safe get pregnant again. When it's time to deliver you will be fully recovered.

i think your sis is right as this would be the third time you will have to be prepared for the c- section so be very careful about your health consult your doc & decide what will be better waiting time also keep that you can give birth to a healthy child only when you are healthy enough as your responsilbility will be increasing as you are already a mom of 1so take your decision wisely keeping in mind yourself , your 1st child as even that kid needs care if there is someone at your place to take care of him very well asgoing for a c-section means you need to take proper rest for yourself too and last but not the least your other responsibilities towards your family ithink you should have a good amount of time in between your deliveries as that will give the earlier child a better time to growup and understand his surrounding his day to day routine and also develop the ability to accept the forthcoming child this will in a way help you out to a certain extent.

I have had 3 c-sections and my doctor said that it takes at least one year for your body to heal. My children are all two years apart. Call your doctor and set up a check up if you think that your body is not ready.

My dr told me I should wait 12 months between c-section deliveries. Meaning you could get pregnant again at 3 months post-partum because after a 9-month pregnancy you would be at 12 months.
Good luck!

Call a doctor to find out, but really 3 years seems excessively long to wait.

there is no such thing as a half a c- section. its either a c-section or its vaginal, there is no middle way here. i was told to not get pregnant for a year, but as britney spears proves it is possible to do it sooner she had 2 c-sections a year apart ask your doctor

I think most doctors agree about a year. But asking your doctor would be the best thing. Good luck!!
