She very well could get it before you. My younger sister and I are 11 months apart, she got her's when she was 9, I didn't get mine until I was 12. It all depends though, even though you are sisters, both of your bodies are different.

It's possible. My sister started her period when she was 8 (I was 18 when she was 8). I started at 13.... Everybody is different, even if you are sisters.

possible but not likely if you are 12 I would say your periods will start very soon. are your breasts starting to grow? this is a sign that your periods are going to start.

Yes, it depends on how much each of you weigh. The period comes when there is specific ratio of fat to muscle, so if she's quite a bit heavier than you, then yes, she could start early.

She'll get it when her body is ready (and so will you). It varies for each person. Some girls start as early as 8, while others don't start until they are 16+.

It could happen, every girl are difference and depend on cycle goes. Never tell when will this happen.

yea...everyone is different. i started mine when i was 11, and one of my friends started hers when she was 13. even if you are sisters, things could be totally different for you.
