Let's play Monopoly! Which piece will your choose and why?

I was always the shoe. I don't know why, maybe I didn't like to iron, but liked shoes! LOL

I used to be the bathtub or the shoe when I played as a child. Probably because I needed a bath or was going barefoot a lot and needed to wear shoes. I think they stopped using the bathtub and the elephant.

I have my own old personal playing piece
it is mine ... grin - no one else was allowed to use it

I am unaware if it actually came from a monopoly set or some other game or whatever

it is a Train Engine
looks just like all the other old playing pieces except I never see it elsewhere these days (did they change the pieces?)
as a kid, I kept it in my room on the windowsill
now it sits in a tiny glass dish on my mantle under a tiny glass dome
and every once in a while I still use it

I usually pick the car or the scottie dog. I like cars and pets. I kinda avoid the wheelbarrow and the iron too, the point is to get rich in monopoly hopefully you can hire people to do the ironing and labouring.

Granny, may it is a SoCal thing. I always picked the shoe or I wouldn't play. Probably because I walked everywhere and the shoe always looked beat up, I don't know.

I choose the race car. When I was a kid I painted my Monopoly car red.

I liked the dog but I got whatever was leftover from everyone else picking first.

I was/am always the horse and rider. Don't know why.. I was always terrified of riding horses. Maybe this was a way of conquering my fear :)
