question... since you got married does it seem to you that just about every day you are constantly doing stuff for other people and almost never for yourself??
I must say that its not all coming from my wife.. it seems that once I got married my whole family has decided how reliable I am and are always getting me to do stuff for them, almost like they expect me to always do it...

before I was married no one thought I was responsible... now all of a sudden..
when I do say no i get whines and complaining.. so I'd rather just do it then listen to the crap.

Yeah, thats life dude. I know my wife thinks I'm Fort Knocks! She will bounce checks, waste money and then turn around and expect yet another bail out.
She holds out the beaver when I don't. Ain't that some crap?

As a grown man, I would have thought that someone at some point, perhaps a parent or a teacher, would have taught you how to say, "No thank you."
Later edit: You must not mind doing what they want very much if it's better than hearing some whining. However, you don't even have to listen to the whining. If they ask you to do something over the phone, you say no, and they start whining, just say, "Oops, gotta go, bye!" and hang up. If you're at their house, leave. If necessary, avoid them. As long as you continue to reward them by giving them what they want for the behavior of asking, and also for the behavior of whining, they will have a powerful disincentive to stop.

Married life does bring more responsibility but it sounds like people are beginning to take advantage of you. You just have to learn how to say no without feeling guilty and without letting anyone pressure you into changing your mind

in the past, do you expect them to do the work for you? If so, what comes around goes around
