The answer is x = one-eighth.

Try it: 6x = six-eighths = 0.75 That's the right hand side.

On the left:

3 times (x to power of 2/3) = 3 times (cube-root of x-squared)
[that's what index of 2/3 means]
which is 3 times cube-root of (1/8)-squared
which is 3 times cube-root of (1/64)
which is 3 times 1/4
which equals 3/4 = 0.75

Therefore left hand side = right hand side when x = 1/8

There is an algebraic way to get to this solution. Are you interested?
