ok, first off, pulling out is the BEST way to get pregnant again.... so I DEF don't recommend that at all....after you have a baby you can get pregnant even before your period really starts. I would talk to your doctor and see what they recommend....periods can start up faster for some women and slower for others....or, even better, you could wait to have sex again with your fiance until you are back on birth control....and, here's a website that might help you out:

Pulling out isn't a very effective form of birth control. You will ovulate about 2 weeks before you have your period, so unless you are testing to see if you re ovulating you won't know that you are fertile again until after you have your first period. Your fiancee should either use a condom or you two shouldn't have sex unless you want another baby.

You can get pregnant regardless if you are breastfeeding or not. Many women end up pregnant because they believe that just because they are breastfeeding and haven't had a menstral cycle yet they aren't still ovulating. The pull out method isn't an effective form of birth control you should think about birth control pills or another method.

It varies....you can still get pregnant before you have your first period....it is unlikely, particularily if you are nursing, but it is possible. There is a low dose birth control pill in Canada made for nursing moms that is absolutely safe....depending where you are you may want to ask your doctor about it. I believe you can start taking this pill 4-6 weeks after your baby is born. And pulling out is never a reliable method of birth control....he doesn't need to finish the deed inside of you for you to get pregnant....

You can get pregnant again within weeks of giving birth. I worked with a woman that found out she was pregnant again at her 6wk check up. The pull out method has a 27% failure rate which is better than nothing but personally I wouldn't trust it.

My husband and I made that mistake... and I just had my second one. I would recommend an IUD. But, look into because it may not be the best option for you. Some peoples bodies can reject it and there could be complications. BUT, it is 99.9% effective if your body takes it and you won't have to worry about the pill, patch or shot!
