My family will celebrate my uncle's 60th birthday next week. The party will be at a very nice local restaurant. He insists that no one bring gifts, but I want to give him something for this very important birthday. I'd really appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.

Give him a nicely framed picture of you. Or maybe you and him together.

If he isn't wanting gifts, then you can't bring anything bulky... Just something that you can give to him when no one else is paying attention...
I can't really think of anything in particular... I mean...
You could do paper (books, pictures, money, gift cards) or jewelry or something like that... Maybe a watch?... ...
