Considering visit to the Gorge in Crete (Greece), but am concerned the area may have been ravaged by fire.?

Do you know if that area (SW) was touched by the flames?

We haven't had fires this year on Crete,no fires near the gorge either.Go and enjoy!!

The fire in Crete took place early in summer, I think near Rethymno when 2 firemen died. The Samaria Gorge is not close to that area, so no problem, they say it is wonderful. Have fun.
