Well i know it happens in every game but see -
*Australia lost two games & they are still in the semi's.
*Bro Pakistan lost 1 game & is in the semi's.
*New Zealand lost to SA & they are also in the semi's
*Poor SA lost their first match & they are out of the tournament.
They were undefeated before this match in this 'CIRCUS' so far.
Who would want to be in Smith's shoes right now?

Of course I feel sorry for them, it's so unfair.
They don't deserve to be out, last night's match made me hate the Indian team.
In my opinion they are the best team in this tournament and in future matches be it test or one day we will beat India.
I will love and support them anyway, as for Smith our entire nation is behind him. They did they best and that's what counts. We will get over this, we love you South African Proteas.

they are not unlucky, they are not jinxed and I do not feel sorry for them. South Africa choke time and time again in Cricket World Cups and big competitions. They always have a talented team and an arrogant attitude but they simply do not live up the incredibly high standards they claim they can play at.
Even though it was their first loss of the tournament they still don't deserve to go through. They should have been able to make enough runs to get through on net run rate. Shocking performance.

No. If they have thought of losing the game after 15 overs, they should have atleast thought of getting 126. Then they would have been in the semi's. T20 is brutal . But that is the fun in it.
If India had lost this match would any Indian feel sorry for it? They would stone or fire the players homes and threaten their families.
I feel the Indian T20 team is winning because of young blood, fierce and attacking players who want to make a mark in World cricket.
30+ aged cricketers are not good for this type of cricket.
Cheers !! India!!!

South Africa has always been unlucky in the world cups despite their good performance and talent .
In 92 world cup rain washed away their chances in semis when they were asked to score 22 runs from 1 ball after Duckworth lewis calculations.

the south africans have always had bad luck in the world cups.ya...to win all the matches but the last one and go out of the tournament while other teams have lost one or two but still in the game is real bad luck.

It's hugely disappointing. SA've played some superb cricket and to think SA've lost only one game and are out of the tournament, it's very disappointing.
Can't anybody see any kinda possibility of betting influence here? After all we are talking about two teams here, INDIA & SA!! ;-)

I blame for their game plan than anything else. I appears they were confused as to whether go for 126 runs to make to semis or score 154 runs to beat India in semis. If they had started their batting with the aim of scoring 126 runs perhaps they may have done it,

Bullshit. I hate SA and their thinly vieled neo-nazi racist undertones, both in the lousy "commentary" the SA commentator was providing as well as the whole attitude of Graeme smith during the awards ceremony. Throughout the interview, he kept alluding to what a fantastic world cup they've had. **** you smith - just turning up to play with braggadacio and fast bowling wont get you the game. I think this is the basic difference between Aus and SA. Australian cricketers are assholes but acknowledge a good performance. SA are vieled racists who are in denial of a non-white team doing well.
