I get nervous while driving on the interstate and to place I'm not familiar with. I can understand, because I haven't much experience. Also, I feel more comfortable with being in the car by myself, than someone on the passenger side.

the best way to get over this is to drive as much as possible and eventually the nervousness will leave you with more driving . I used to have this after I had an accident . now i drive everywhere without the nervousness. good luck .

I used to have horrible driving anxiety on the highways, those semi's and cars speeding past you, even though I was driving 70mph. I have to distract myself, sing to radio, have the window down a little, I chew ice too. I know it sounds weird but it helps. I absolutely cannot talk on the cell phone while I am driving.
