.. WHEN

1. The Earth Rotates around its own axis at a super speed of 1040 miles / hour

&

2. The Earth Rotates around the Sun at a breathtaking speed of 30 km (18.5 miles) / Second.

But we don't feel any movement ?

How is iT ?

Would we feel it if we had some planets too near to the earth?

Thinking of this makes my head rotate faster than the Earth.

Help me, Please!

Thanks in advance!

If you are in car, can you tell if its going at 10, 20, 50 or 200 mph without looking out the windows? (or looking at the speedometer or listening to the whine of the engine)

No, we perceive changes in acceleration or deceleration.

I think the answer for your questions is that we have the same speed as the earth because we live on it..
so the relativity speed between us and the sun is the same between earth and the sun..
so our speed actually equals the earth speed..
I'm not sure if I was helpful in my answer.. but I hope so..

You can only sense speed when it is relative to some other object. Read Einstein's theories. There is no object close by to judge our speed by.

If you are in a space ship with no windows or other contact with the outside world, you can not possibly tell how fast you are going.

you CAN feel it and watch it's progression if you set up for it.... sit in a comfy chair with a west-facing window at your side..... have a seat just about sundown.... don't look OUT the window, just keep the light from the sun on your leg or something near....watch it move.... and then think really hard that it's NOT the sun that's moving, it's the EARTH and you that's moving..... that's just the Earth's axial rotation....can't help ya with the yearly thing.....*smile*..............

It's not for us to ponder why but glad that they do. Worry about it when it doesnt . I sometimes wonder why it rains in part of the states when we have had so little. BUT its not for me to know.

The motion is so smooth it can't be detected.
