In mice black (B) coat color is dominant to brown (b), and the presence of color (C) is dominant to albino (c). A black mouse is found wandering around on the floor of the mouse room. Its exact genotype is unknown. What cross/es would you need to determine the exact genotype of this mouse? What are the possible outcomes

I started College studying this crap too.

Then suddenly I asked myself, "Why would I possibly give a crap what genotype a mouse is? And even if there is a reason to try to know, could it possibly outweigh the huge pain in the butt that it would be to actually find out?"

I don't exactly remeber how to do it but you have to put the different gene outcomes in what is called a "punnet square". You could look it up on wikipedia or something. sry i couldn't be more of a help...

You have to do a test cross - cross the mouse with one that is known to be homozygous recessive.
