i see the point about how some might be given suspicious stares when they go into stores....but teenagers and even women with baby strollers get the same treatment.

Unfortunately, it is still sometimes about race.

This current incident, however seems to be pretty clear cut, did the six boys beat up one other boy?

I sorry to say but it still is. There isn't all out hatred for each others race but stereotypes and racist jokes. Being black in a white majority town when I walk into a store I'm normally given second looks and suspicious glares. You might not think it between black and white anymore but it hard to get the bad stereotypes that has been in bedded in all races out.

Thank u!! It is soo unbelieveable how whiny these people are!! I mean GROW UP!!! I can't stand when someone throws the race card. It's a childish and easy way to get outta sh*t. And they wonder why there are still racist people in the world. Look how far blacks have come, and they are still not satisfied. Can you imagine going back in time and telling a slave owner that in year 2007, some of the greatest artists, golfers, basketball and football players are black?

once you're relating what i think of you're then, no. I rather have the prospect to have faith what I see/pay attention interior the information media; take it or depart; stir sparkling of what i think of isn't credible. The tabloids, as an occasion, such because of the fact the national Enquirer: it is for "gullible" minds, yet no longer for individuals with any experience of what's somewhat real, who decide to comprehend. meanwhile, till you could instruct that so-called "media-bias" is risky interior the television media, I shall proceed to exhibit screen ABC's evening information 7 days a week, and NIGHTLINE, Monday via Friday. CNN is yet another tale altogether. How many times do I watch Crap information community? How do you spell "by no skill"?

The problem is that Al Sharption IS a racsist himself. He sees most whites as evil regardless of their actions, and most (all?) blacks as innocent regardless of the proof stacked up against them. He is the flip side of the white supremacist movement. Both are detrimental to creating a civil society.

I'm all for a member of the black community stepping up and calling out injustice and racism...what I am not for is someone who continually stands up and points out the injustice and racism but does nothing to rally the black community to action for change...POSITIVE CHANGE!! MLK Jr had a message and a clear purpose and he moved the community to action...peaceful protests and making sure they received equal rights...I get that this country is ripe with racism but Al what positive changes can you encourage?!!!

Al Sharpton is an angry black man. He has yet to realize that we're all (mostly) getting along and don't want to hear his racist monologues anymore.
