Well, personally I work in a office with camera's & phone lines are recorded (even in the breakroom) its really hard to do anything wrong - Yet I do. The only thing I can think of is to say sorry. I did make the mistake of telling people I hate my job I want to quit to have my manager sit me down about it. That sucked

Not a chance that such a thing will happen to me! I make it a point to talk very politely to everyone in the office. If you are good at your job, Ron will see the funny side of what happened and I am sure you will not lose your job! However, you'll have to curb the use of profanities in future!!!

Yeah last night I sat down after 4 hours of working and mopping the back room, and my manager goes "You don't see anyone else taking a break because we DID something!?" I was like "Bitchplease.. Don't make me get fired." But I didn't say that of course..

My boss was drunk (I work at a bowling alley/restaurant) so we told him he didn't pay us enought tips and he ended up giving us 3 x as much.
He figured it out and now leaves and has the bartender pay us.
We're on a first name basis and I was invited to his daughter's wedding so we are a bit tighter that normal employees and managers.

I tick off my boss ALL the time. Of course, I AM my boss, so that's a bit of muddle because, frankly, sometimes I really think I should fire me for insubordination and having a lousy attitude.

LOL! No, it's just my boss and I here, and I regularly abuse him that way - he enjoys it. But in your case, I would just apologize profusely and explain that you and Ryan have a running joke or something, and you thought he was Ryan when he called.

Oh man....I hate when stuff like that happens. To we "wise ones" it does happen every now and then.
