9/17 Mon, I had a blood test and Ultrasound at 5 weeks and a day pregnant. Ultrasound showed that I have a "sac" but they couldn't see anything inside(no baby..) and I had another blood test on 9/19 Wed, my blood test results(hCG level) are first one(9/17) was 1312, and second one(9/19) was 3181. I was worrying about blighted ovum a little. as you see this hCG levels i still have a high chance to have blighted ovum? I don't have any bleeding but sometime mild cramps.

Why waste your energy worrying this early? At 5w1d you cannot see a fetal pole. It is too small. Your hCG is rising, and you have a gestational sac within the uterus. It is rare to have a sac in the uterus and another sac growing in the uterine tube.

The first sign of a pregnancy within the uterus is the visualization of the gestational sac. The earliest this is seen is 4 weeks. At about 6 weeks, we can usually see a fetal pole.

"The gestational sac is the earliest sonographic finding in pregnancy.....The gestational sac first appears at about 4 weeks gestational age, and grows at a rate of about 1 mm a day through the 9th week of pregnancy.....While a gestational sac is sometimes seen as early as during the 4th week of gestation, it may not be seen until the end of the 5th week..."

AND:

"A mass of fetal cells, separate from the yolk sac, first becomes apparent on transvaginal ultrasound just after the 6th week of gestation.....The fetal pole grows at a rate of about 1 mm a day, starting at the 6th week of gestational age."

Worrying this early is a waste of your energy, and it does nothing but jeopardize your health, as well as your baby's health. Try to relax (I know, I know, us humans are not good at being patient!) and give it another week. After 6 weeks, the fetal pole grows at 1 mm a day, so a few days makes a big difference. Best wishes to you!

you should be in very early being pregnant. Blood exams are the two quantitative or qualitative. If that is quantitative the ER have been given an unquestionably hormone point back and desperate you weren't pregnant, if that is qualitative they only have been given back a good or destructive from the lab. something over a point of 5 hcg is above everyday yet distinctive labs have distinctive tiers to qualify as pregnant or no longer. you may nicely be pregnant and in user-friendly terms have a point of 20 hcg on an hpt however the qualitative being pregnant attempt would be destructive in the event that they only evaluate it helpful in user-friendly terms when you hit 50 case in point, does that make considering? you should be very newly pregnant and have an helpful hpt and destructive blood attempt in the event that they did a qualitative attempt. while you're in actuality that newly pregnant no longer something could have been on the ultrasound, your infant(team of cells at this factor incredibly) is smaller than a flea. it is likewise available which you miscarried when you took the exams, that is referred to as a blighted ovum or chemical being pregnant and is rather user-friendly. many times females do no longer even know they have been pregnant because of the fact it happens so close to to there era, the miscarriage may well be incorrect for a solid or rather previous due era. virtually each woman will adventure this no rely if or no longer they ever know approximately it or no longer. supply it each week and retest. in case you nonetheless get a good attempt call your wide-unfold practitioner for a blood attempt. unquestionably the ER could no longer have accomplished something for you and that they knew it that's why they did no longer look to care, that is nonetheless incorrect to handle you that way nevertheless. An early miscarriage isn't preventable or led to by something you do.

while yes you could still face that you also shouldn't really expect to see anything just yet on ultrasound. I had one done at 7 wks and the tech said I was lucky that I actually seen the heartbeat because she said at 6 wks most people can barely see a little peanut shaped thing. I assume your Dr is going to recheck with another ultrasound in 2 wks to see if baby has changed any. It is also possible that you are not as far along as you think you are. You could have ovulated late as well causing numbers to be lower than expected. If you have any questions please talk to you Dr as they can really answer them because they will have all your test information. Good luck.

At 5 weeks 1 day, the baby hasn't developed enough to see anything yet. In another 2 weeks you'll be able to see a little tadpole/cashew shaped thing inside the sac, along with a tiny little heartbeat. I wouldn't worry.
