My internet connection is working fine i go onto aim all the time. But my internet explorer or mozilla firefox is not working. It just goes straight to the page that says can not connect to internet please check connection. this does not make any sense because i am on aim talking to people. Please help me fix it!

Run a scan for viruses using your antivirus and spyware using your anti-spyware programs. If you don't have any, use the following:
Spyware Tools:

http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
Anti-Virus:
http://free.grisoft.com
If you ran a scan with each and it's still not working, try removing and reinstalling your browser.
