Idon't think so... she has I guess some ok ones, but after trying to read some more I couldn't. The writing was too jumpy and not smooth to me. Plus I read one that was incestous, not romantic at all but disgusting. I have read books where incest relations were featured but it was written just so that while I found it revolting the book was great. If oyu like VC Andrews try Daphne Du Maur she has some wonderful novels, that you might enjoy.

Is she the one who wrote Flowers In The Attic and Petals In The Wind? She's ok. I prefer the classics though, Jane Austen's Pride and Predjudice and Flowers for Algernon-don't remember the author's name. Not to mention, Edith Wharton and Good Ol' Shakespeare. Though I did enjoy a modern biograpy, Marie Antionette, by Antonia Fraser.

Read the classics. Read some authors who are no longer living. Read Hemingway and Conrad. THEN come back and tell us you think VC Andrews is the greatest author ever. Seriously.

Catherine and Christopher were HOT, baby! Ain't no flowers in THAT attic any more, I tell ya!

Freakin' literature. She's a bit too deep for me. I tend to like R.L. Stine myself.

EDIT: There, there Darth. (((Darth))) There, there. Which brings another author to mind, Joe Heller. Heh. He wished he could write like V.C. Andrews.

(farien, VC Andrews has been dead a long time. The books are now written under her name, but she died in the late 80s or early 90s.)

I wouldn't use the word good to describe V.C. Andrews. She was an entertaining novelist, though. I quit reading her after she died. Whoever they had ghostwriting just couldn't duplicate her voice well enough to suit me.
