Ive know this guy for bout 6 mths now n we hit it off right away.I know his ex and they had just broken up after a almost 3 yr relationship when we met.He told me how she had hurt him pretty bad.We started hangin out, even lost my virginity to him.I thought all was well but we were never in a relationship. He didnt want to be in one because he was afraid to be hurt again and was tired of being tied down.So weve pretty much just been friends with benefits...and not as bad as it seems we are good friends that just happen to fool around every once in awhile.Recently he told me that us bein bf and gf wouldn't happen, that he doesn't want to be tied down again even to a sweet beautiful girl like me, and that he is not gonna get attached to anyone else.I care about him so much and I hate to see him hurt. All I want is for him to be happy. He is the sweetest, most sincere, respectful, funny guy Ive ever met in my life.I just don't want to lose him.what should I do, friends with benefits bad idea?

...we've already been through the part of them gettin back together a couple of times. they never did because everytime they attempted to work things back out they couldnt. he's such a good guy n she didnt treat him as good as she should have n he finally realized it.

you should walk away. maybe even for a little bit. Show him that you will be OK with out him maybe once he losses the best thing that has happened to him (you) then he will come to you. Be patient it wont happen over night. If you don't follow that advice then absolutely DO NOT continue to be friends with benefits.. you are only going to get hurt and normally in the end your friendship will break apart

Eh I would say back off because he is still wrapped up in the ex!!

Stay friends and be is rebound F*** Buddy! Ok that was a bit rude but you know what I mean!! You only live once! Dont deal with his troubles, live your own life and love him as a friend. As soon as you find your own bf you wont even think about him I promise! Stay out of his business!

the frist mistake is friends with benefits. i mean that is bad right there. hes still hurting from the relationship and if she wants him back he'll be there. yep, very fast no matter what you do. this is why its bad idea to be around him when she gets wind of this she'll come back only to take him away from you for a minute. that is why find your own special guy and get moving this is bad time for him and not good for you. take care.

It sounds to me that you make him happy
Maybe he would change his mind if he realised that
