Suburban blacks are boring. How can you make a movie about that.
Anyway that is not true. There are lots of black movies that are not about the ghetto.
A good movie for you is Training Day.
You should not be ashamed that your father is successful. Live your life the way you feel comfortable. Never be ashamed of success.
Always act smarter than you really are. Acting ghetto is not the road to success.

There are many movies that don't depict black people as being ghetto. Many have some very interesting story lines. One such movie is Daddy's Little Girls, which touches on the comedic, gangster, family values, and overcoming challenges. It's a real feel good movie.

You may have noticed that all groups of people get stereotyped in the movies. That's especially true for minorities. Apparently, it never seems to occur to the people who make movies that there are many others in those groups who don't fit into those stereotypes. Instead, they seem to think it's easier for audences to relate to when others are portrayed in that manner. Not only do you have black people living in ghettos but also black men are shown as drug dealers or athletes and black women are loud and rude. It doesn't stop there. Asian women are shown as hot and sexy while their male counterparts are nerdy, intelligent, asexual, martial arts experts, or have mystical powers. Native Americans are often portrayed as being noble savages and Middle Eastern people are often shown as being terrorists (this was especially true in 1980s action movies). White women, especially when they are older, are portrayed as being privileged and neurotic, while children, especially if they are little and cute, are smarter than the adults. Hardly anybody ever gets portrayed realistically in movies. I can't really relate to them either.

Because if they break away from that stigma, the number of blacks going to see the movie will be lower. There is still a need for a Ghetto God in black films.

well lets face it most of blacks are in the ghetto and we dont control the movie studios so until we start taking advantage of the opportunities we get thats what they will continue to show or thats the way the world will think of us the way the TV and movies or rappers portray us

Because the movie Leonard Part 6 was so awful that no one ever wanted to make a movie even vaguely resembling it ever again.
