don't give him that tip! he's hitting on you for bigger tips!
here's a tip for the waiter! tell him his fly is open and he'll turn red and dissapear quick!

Waiters should never make a comment about anything. I did that kind of work and it is a difficult work as how to deal with customers. I do not mean to offend you but perhaps your attitude has something to do with the way " the help"... I don't like the word".. respond to you.. The customer is always right, you might say, but let me tell you dear Heart, some customers are sometimes too much to handle! LOL.
Yes it would bug me if a waiter or waitress would make a comment because I treat them with respect and it is not too much to ask the same in return.
I did that kind of work for many years, and believe me; in all of those years, there was only two persons that gave me an attitude and a hard time, and from then on, I refused to wait on them! And my boss was a hundred percent behind me on that!
You do not have to mingle socially with a waiter dear heart. Just report the incident to the person in charge. That would be a proper thing to do if something has offended you.
Have a beautiful day, and better luck the next time. There are always exceptions. Some waiters do not like their job and this is the result.

If you are not joking (hope you are, can't tell) but how stuck up can you be!
Some waiters like to develop a rapport with their guests, and will do very well for guests who are friendly, they don't like being treated as "the help", that is just plain rude!
Good grief, some people's children!

lol i feel like that most of the time
i am short and they think i am like 7 and give me the kids menu- I am 13 turning 14 so.... it is sooooooooooooooo annoying and then the kids menu says kids 10 AND UNDER. ugh... I HATE THAT
-but some waiters and waitresses are nice

Was a good or bad comment, If it was good then I wouldnt worry about it, If it was bad well when you go out and spend money in a restaurant the people in that estabishment are there for you.
