This is why people start their own businesses. You can too.Hard work will allways pay off, whereas a lawsuit will cost more than you could imagine.Nice question though..be carefull of entering the trap of feeling owed by anothers it is a fast road to a lazy life. And remember when you are a boss...what you feel like now.Good Luck

Unless you had an employment contract or are in a union, you are probably an "at will" employee and can be fired without any reason at all.

There is some protection for you if you were fired because of race, disability, national origin and other special situations.

See an employment lawyer.

Did you have a contract? Where do you live? In most places (especially in right to work states) you can be fired for any reason or no reason as long as it is not one of a handful of prohibited ones (race, sex, etc).

If that's a typical sample of how well you write, I'm not surprised you got fired.

normally no. You are hired at will meaning you have the will to quit anytime and the company has the right to fire you at will. You can try calling an attorney, but the company could simply say they were cutting back.

I'd actually sue the school that taught you to spell!

A lawsuit? you could follow up on it but it sounds like a tough case to win. However, your husband can easily get unemployment if they fired him without warning.

Probably not. Most places have a "right to fire" which means they don't have to give you a reason.

depends on if you had a contract or not, your spelling and grammar is horrible so I am very surprised that you "ran everything" must be a very small company
