That , my friends , is a quote from a manager at. . . .. PLANNED PARENTHOOD .

Planned Parenthood is in legal trouble in Aurora , Illinois . Seems the city is angry because Planned Parenthood was deceptive in their business practices and disclosing the true nature of their new building . Now there's lawsuits , anti-abortion protests , and general troubles . They also encouraged young 13 yr. olds to not discuss abortion with their parents or teachers .
As a result of that , a manager was interrogated and the above titled question is a quote from her .

I know you folks on the right will be outraged , but I'm truly wondering if folks on the left can stop for a minute and THINK . THINK about all the notions you had about the noble and honorable Planned Parenthood , and compare those notions with what you have just read .

OK Folks , What Is Your Opinion About Planned Parenthood ?

UPDATE -- In order to have a link I would've had to have read that story . I didn't read it . Instead I did better . I witnessed her saying it on the Chicago News !!

NEW UPDATE - I neglected to mention that she went on to say it was all about MONEY .

Bluesman - She was fired for revealing this .

EPILOGUE - I saw what I saw . Simply because you don't have a link to it does not make it untrue . But if I were you , I'd really start looking for the story . I gave you the location and the quote . You may have to look very hard through liberal media outlets because it's not in their interest to print such a story . In closing I will say that I'm 100% sure that I got the quote exactly how she said it and that nothing was taken out of context . You have my word on it . Not good enough for you ? Fine , then ignore it as usual or look it up yourself .

The name of the organization is "Planned" Parenthood not ""Hey, let's be irresponsible and get pregnant so I can get an abortion at Planned Parenthood".

Planned Parenthood is an organization that provides information at little or no cost about birth control and sexually transmitted diseases. They are the only organization today that provides safe abortions for women who elect the procedure.

Many people focus on the fact they perform abortions and little attention is given to the fact low cost birth control methods are provided there. Planned Parenthood does much more than perform abortions.

I support Planned Parenthood 100%. I am find it a very hard to believe that an employee of Planned Parenthood said their goal was to have every 13 to 18 year old girl have 3 to 5 abortion since Planned Parenthood strives to prevent the need for abortion by providing education about birth control methods. Teenagers especially may not be getting the information they need about birth control because some adults think abstinence is the only acceptable option. Since teenagers tend to engage in sexually activity, I prefer that they do so with all the education possible regarding birth control and sexually transmitted disease.

Margaret Sanger was jailed for giving women condoms. Would women today like to return to those times? I doubt it.

While I appreciate the right of those who disagree with abortion to say so, I find the harassment of patients at Planned Parenthood by pro-lifers extreme and hateful - not the actions of a person who values life - all lives - not just the lives of the people who agree with their position.

I like to see the source of your quote but considering it is Plan Parenthood ( what an oxymoron)
I have little doubt about it being real.

As far as Aurora goes the people at PP were dishonest and should be held accountable for it.
They said they try to keep it a secret about their plans from their opponets.

Well guess the opponets found out and now you have drawn more protesters to Aurora.

GOOD JOB.

Please read about the wonderful words of Marget Sanger.

Heck Hitler was inspired by her to make the master race.

What a hero for women.

You know without a link it's all a bunch of hot air. I just googled the phrase you quote and the only link was back to this question.

You would think that an admission this inflammatory would be everywhere. It hasn't even hit the blogosphere. Which channel news were you watching? What is your source? No one else in the world seems to have heard this except you.

I don't know how anyone is surprised by this.
Planned Parenthood has gotten SO far away from its original objectives that it's ridiculous.
Children can't vote, they can't drink, they can't even stay out late on school nights without getting into trouble - BUT they can choose to have $ex, get pregnant and terminate that pregnancy without ever consulting an ADULT who cares about them and can think rationally and logically?
What a bunch of freaking morons we share this world with!

I cannot imagine that the above quote was not taken out of context.

Seriously, you would have to have eaten several bowls of stupid for breakfast to have uttered those words, and I cannot imagine anyone that would be allowed to leave the house unescorted would say them.

Let's be open and honest here. What is the rest of the story?

As to your question, what is my opinion on Planned Parenthood, I think they could do some good through education, and through making reproductive health care (with no questions asked) available to those that would otherwise be embarrassed enough to avoid treatment. The fact that they do not encourage women seeking an abortion to explore other avenues first is a bit disturbing.

Hi,
Ok, let me get this straight. In order to be a parent, you actually have to have the kid, so if they planned on killing it before it draws it's first breath, then they planned the murder correctly....., but didn't plane the whole act of parenting correctly.....right!? Or did I mean left!? Why wait to throw the baby out with the bath water, when you can throw the fetus out with the responsibility! Now that's being a responsible parent! Birth control anyone?

Here is another sad fact for you Earnest. PP is so hooked on killing babies, if they take a few moms out with it .......that is okay too.

Although RU486 has killed several young women planned parenthood still claims it 'safe'. Hey, give my 13 year old that pill (without my knowledge or consent) and when she bleeds to death in my house - under my care, because I have no idea what she's done...........well, I guess PP just got two for the price of one. Sickening!

Its an essential educational part of our community ... it would be nice if churches or community groups would also step up to the plate and provide some sex education, but we can't trust them to do it responsibly

I don't know anything about that comment (please post a web link if you can) ... but it seems to me PP is the best we have, and without it we would have a much bigger problem

to me Abortion itself is nothing more than a politicized issue to sway votes ... the question as to abortion is not whether it should be permitted, but whether it should be required.

people who are pro-unwanted children are just as disturbing to me, and militant Christian organizations might as well be considered terrorists ... and they only seem to care until the baby is born, which is the height of hypocrisy

... at least PP is providing realistic honest answers

Planned parenthood is and always has been about eliminating minorities, disabilities, and poverty by preventing people of those "diversities" from being born.

Regardless, I think its a medical decision and the government has no business in it. That doesn't mean I believe there is a right and wrong choice, or a seriously sick and twisted agenda hidden behind this 'freedom'.
