Empathy? Understanding that oppression and living under occupation are some root causes, and provide a fertile environment, for terrorism is NOT empathy. Recognizing that merely killing terrorists will NOT end terrorism if the root causes of terrorism are exacerbated and remain unaddressed is NOT empathy.

let's see you cite a real news source with this story.
be aware, i don't dispute this article out of hand. it's your source that is suspect. if this guy really is an embedded reporter then the story should be reported by a regular news service.
