Before I answer, here's my reasons.

Eagles offense is questionable. It's not just their QB either. Lions defense is relatively weak. McNabb is probably going to have his best game this year so far. If McNabb throws fewer than 2 INT's, Eagles will have a good chance at winning. But that is the point. Lions tend to find their weak spot in their defense and then take it away. Usually resulting in an INT. If McNabb can see the bait and avoid the trap, Eagles win. But I don't see McNabb able to avoid the trap.
The Lions also tend to give up a lot of passing yards, so just because McNabb passes for over 300 yrds and 3 TD's doesn't mean the Eagles will be on the high side of the score.

Eagles defense is better than average on a whole. Bu they will be tested with possibly the best passing game in the NFL. The up side, is the Lions have possibly the worst running game in the NFL Teams tend to cheat to stopping the pass and let a strong pass-rush break-up any running game the Lions have. Look for Lions to once again have 300+ yards passing offense and over 400+ yards of total offense. Scores will be high.

Special teams are going to be the difference. Who can punt the farthest and give their team a short field to work on. Once again, Nick Harris is near the leagues leading punters in both gross and net yardage. And Hanson being one of the longest and most accurate field goal kickers playing. With this one-two punch, the Lions may have the advantage. This is the part that I don't know about the Eagles: Do they have one of the leagues best return teams or not? If they do, Eagles win by the number of points the special teams make. If not, Lions win.

My perdiction: Eagles - 32, Lions - 35

I say the Lions 31-19. I find it hard to believe that Philadelphia can score more than 1 TD with the current state of their offense, so I'm going to pencil them in for 1 TD and 4 FGs.

The only reason I am giving one TD at all is because I think Kitna can be counted on to throw at least one interception that will either give Philly great field position or a TD.

The Lions are playing well and the Eagles have too many off field distractions, such as Andy Reid's kids being in trouble and McNabb's recent comments.

I think it can go either way especially with Kitna playing better than anticipated these past 2 weeks. But i feel the Eagles at 0-2 have something to prove so I see the Eagles winning 30-17!

Its kinda funny your askin this question cause your gonna have a biased opinion bein an eagles fan.....but I think the eagles will win. Im sadly a Minnesota fan and they played one of the sloppiest games Ive seen in a while last week. Kickers missing field goals, blown route runs, turnovers, etc. The eagles haven't been playing that well to start the season but you can't get much worse than Minnesota or the Lions....Eagles win.
