a diary? Or ever kept one?
Also is it better to have a special book to keep as a diary or just use an ordinary notepad? What do you think?

I used to keep a journal, where I wrote what I thought about everything happening around me, and those dreams and aspirations that I would never dare to speak about out loud. I finally burned it, because I realized that there were things there that I would never want other people to read. I miss it sometimes, it was nice to read back a couple of years and see where I was then, and compare it to where I thought I would be.

Yes. The diary is important. We usually forget but if we write then it'll be easy to go back to our diary to be sure. And when we argue with any body then we'll show him the details with dates. It is important to keep important things written.

meh. i used to write in it every day when i was like 8 buttt now i always get bored of it
it's usually the same story where i write an entry in a notebook and then forget about it, 3 months later i remember and write in a new notebook o_o
yeah, notebooks are the best i think ^_^ partly because of what someone said above lols, looks less suspiscious :D and yeah, it's cheaper and somehow easier to use, lol - :D

My son called it a "Diarrhea" tee hee, yes I keep them except now I buy an Art Sketch book so I can paste in magazine clippings and photos of cool ideas, decorating things I like and any other thing that strikes my fancy.

A notepad. Looks less suspicious. I do a lot of drawings , then I match stories with them.

I used to keep a diary, but when I went back and looked at what I had written years before, I thought, "Geez, who wrote all this drivel?! lol

I use to keep a journal when I was in the military, right after I got promoted to 1st Lieutenant.
I destroyed it by fire before moving to South Carolina.

Yeah when i was younger i had a really funky notepad with colourful pens...dont keep one anymore

but if you do id go for the diary just make sure you hide it from people so they dont pry into your thoughts
