Oh boy what cant you do in Vegas if you don't care about price. There are places on the strip you will see that sell cheaper discount tickets one is by Harras some outside market area.
Food: Go to The Rio International buffet. best in Vegas.
Night bar party: While your at the Rio go to the Voodoo Lounge at the top floor of the Rio its cool.
Excitement: Head to the Stratosphere for the Hot Shot on top of the needle, way fun!
Shows: I say go to Spamalot its really funny, Nights of the round table is good also for a fun show and meal that's at the Excalibur.
Free Shows: Most all are on the strip, and start after dark. Places like TI (that ones the best), the volcano at the Mirage, Lions at the MGM, and some others here and there.
Best Pool: is at the Mandalay Bay

When you get tired of the strip, gambling and night life in Vegas I highly recommend visiting some of the nearby areas including Red Rock Canyon which is on the edge of town or better yet Valley of Fire State Park which would easily qualify as a great National Park.
Tons of pictures and info on these and several museums (Liberace or Elvis anyone?) as well as many other Las Vegas attractions on my online travel magazine iNeTours.com

1) Get married (I did)
2) See tons of shows of various types (Every major hotel has a theater that show musicians, comedians, magicians, etc.)
3) Gamble (I'm sure you've heard of the Casinos)
4) Drink (Casinos will provide free liquor as long as you are gamblin or pretending to gamble.)
5) Enjoy the various buffets and inexpensive cuisine (Look for a little spot call Ellis Island, just off the strip for $5 Steak Dinners)
6) Visit Lake Mead, Hoover Dam or the Grand Canyon (All can be reached pretty easily)
7) Party (Most major hotels have great night clubs)
8) If you've got a couple hours to kill you can go to a timeshare presentation (You don't have to buy anything and they give away great tickets to shows and events)

Depending how long youll be there...so much you can do. A good place for dinner...for more of of a view than the food is the Stratosphere because it revolves and you get a beautiful view of Vegas at night. Check online for the many shows..that depends on what you like. We stay at the MGM because its kind of central and easy access to the air tram which will take you to the other side of the strip.

There is so much to do it is overwhelming. If you are looking to save money, spend a night going to all the free shows in front of the casinos like the fountains at the Belagio, or the Treasure Island Show. Once you're there you will find things to do, there is so much to see, also check out the website of the hotel you are staying at for discounts and ideas.

Er...gamble? Watch one of those cool cabaret shows, or a little Zoomanity?
Maybe commit a couple of sins, after all, Las Vegas isn't called "sin city" for nothing, but then again, "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas".
