I'm not sure of his entire history but I am aware that he was one of the kids charges with stealing a weapon which was pulled on him and 2 other kids at a convience store 12/2/2006.

He was convicted of battery Dec 25 '05. Three months before the assault on Justin Barker he was arrested for two counts of battery while on probation.
So to sum things up he has three counts of battery and one count of probation violation as a juvenile before he and five other black males nearly beat to death one white person.

The US district court ruled that the nooses were NOT a hate crime and if there was a connection between that and the beating it would have happened shortly after the incident, not three months.

And every ones out there supporting a juvenile with a violent criminal record and not a care for the person who was nearly killed by them. Sharpton ought to be ashamed when all is over and done with.

It has NOT been released as to whether Justin Barker had anything to do with the nooses, so for now he is just an INNOCENT white person.

He's had 4 prior convictions of violent crimes. I'm not sure what they are though. So his punishment seems to fit for him. I wouldn't want to let him walk free knowing what he can do to someone. Especially what he will do over a tree.

Getting Al Sharpton involved!

we all know that if it was a black guy who got beat up for doing something as offensive as what the white guy did here, then there would be a rally for that black guy too...even if he did something as offensive as the noose hanging thing!...yes i find it offensive and threatening for the nooses to have been on the tree..but the white kid did NOT touch the black kids..therefore they had no right to beat the kid up!! that's assault....plain and simple..and then for the beating to have happened 3 months!! after the noose incident..sounds to me they were looking for an excuse for the kids to comment assault...that would be the same as saying that the boys for columbine had every right to kill all those kids because they were picked on in school...no one touched them..but they had every right to kill(assault) those kids....same thing...only difference..is it was WHITE AGAINST BLACK!!! That's the whole issue..nothing more...!!!!!
