If we were just going on the voice that would be 1st Randy Travis followed closely by Tim McGraw.
If we are talking hott!! I'd have to say Kenny Chesney.
Keith Urban can play the guitar like no other. (Not to mention he sure is easy on the eyes)
But seriously the best singer/song writer out there is Alan Jackson.

That's a tough question for me, I have so many favorites, I would have to say Sheryl Crow next would be Gwen Stefani.
I love their voices and can relate to so many of their songs.
