When Jerry was on the show alsong time ago him and Bobby had a thing going why haven't they played upon that? They haven't even done a scen together.

That would require research, and that would be much more difficult than just slapping together seemingly provocative storylines and ignoring continuity and characterization for the desires of some spoiled, pampered castmembers who threaten to quit if they don't get their way.
Personally, I would LOVE to see more of Bobbi. She would certainly lend loads of moral support to her family in the midst of their crises, but Jackie Zeman has been MIA for some time. I hope she isn't gone for good. I'd rather see Lulu going to her for advice instead of Carly.

Because the writers don't know anything about the show's history. They have the collective attention span of a goldfish. In fact, they're relying on viewers to *not* remember the old Jerry so that we don't realize how much sense this Mr. Craig person does not make as a recast.

I think because a lot of people probably have foregotten about that. and this Jerry seems too young for her right now. She has not been on that much since the new Carly has been on. I think that has something to do with the age thing too.

I have not seen Bobby in a very long time. Now that Jerry is so evil and held her daughter and niece hostage she would never get back with him. He left her at the alter (her house) with a letter how he was not good for her. If I remember correctly

I've wondered that too. Maybe TPTB think we long time watchers are too stupid to remember them together.
Mind you Bobby is hardly ever on any more so I guess they just choose to ignore it. They could speak about it though and at least acknowledge it.

I think they should have them do a scene together just to talk about the times they had together.

I know and it irritates me to no end. Here he is hanging around Carly and no, hey how's your mom? Was she heartbroken much when I got arrested at our wedding? I wish they would have a scene where she walks up and slaps him silly!
