I believe the field marshall may be the guy who's beheaded... which is a funny character... if that's not who i'm thinking of then it's usually just a random chorus member... but the beheaded guy is hilarious... and by that i mean sarcasticly funny.. i wish i could find my script...

I saw the play movie pippin and there was no character names marshall. I also saw it as a play that my friend was in.

I directed Pippin many years ago and I dont remember the field marshal at all. so it must be a very small part. Great show!

I appeared in Pippin and don't remember this character, so it is probably a brief appearance during the war scene.
