YEAH, my own cousin/roomate....... cholked me, we got into a fight. long story short, i was locked out and threw a rock at the door...... she wouldnt let me in, cops came.... i went to jail for 2 counts of DV, misorderly conduct, threat.... and also, she told them that her bong sitting in my bedroom was mine and she was sick of me smoking in the house. (*ok, guilty.... but it still wasn't mine).... she waved me off to jail with a smile on her face from the front porch. I HOPE SHE DIES.

I've been in the same situation. My personal opinion is that you should fight it. That is a form of discrimination. But, in the meantime, I would start looking for another place to live because your landlord will probably hold a grudge against you if you win, and find any little thing to evict you for in the future. Good Luck!

Yes I did, and I paid dearly!!!

I think at some point in time one way or another we pay for somebody else's mistake.

One time at a dinner at my aunt's house when i was like 12, the son of a friend of my aunt's spilled soda all over the kitchen table but his mother didn't see it yet. Now this kid used to get beatings all the time, to the point his mom dislocated his arm, Knowing this I told everybody at the table i did it so he wouldn't get in trouble. I was punished until after my aunt's friend left and my sister helped me set the story straight.

As a child I surely did! My brother did things wrong and he would tell my mother that I had done it and I always took his punishment because he "wouldn't lie" and he was perfect.

It was interesting that she kept that attitude until she died.
