The myth is based on popular headlines. Do people want to read "KERRII ANDERSON APPOINTED CEO OF WENDY'S CORPORATION," or do they want to read "BRITNEY SPEARS DRUNK AGAIN"? Regular, self-respecting women don't make headlines the way scandalous celebrities do.

I don't care about trash like Paris Hilton or Britney Spears.
I want a down to earth woman, who can take care of herself, has a good head on her shoulders, and can treat others with kindness, compassion, etc. I'd also want a woman who likes to have fun every now and then, but she needs to know there are limits.
Women are not turning into Hilton's and Spears. There are too many guys out there that are repulsed by skanky trash like them and seek out descent intelligent women.
Someone who has kids needs to put them first. Someone who is in the national spotlight needs to take steps to keep their crazy party side private. It's not hard. Everyone gets a little crazy sometimes, but you don't have to flaunt your trashyness.

Personally I prefer the company of real, decent, honest, open minded females with whom I can interact.
I may not necessarily be right about everything, but I am pretty sure that the 'average' Woman is of far more import and value than those who have chosen to live on a pedestal.
Perhaps the day will come when We can here Their opinions on a whole range of issues other than those which sell magazines?

i'm uncertain if she is a feminist, as a newborn-kisser her political targets have continually come first and meaning she has had to compromise in some components that somebody with extra particular convictions might have chosen to no longer. whether, she is a robust woman, and has shown she is in a position to handle public existence and as a guy or woman who strikes actively and effectively interior the broader international. In that know, particular she's a stable function form to assert to youthful females "you could gain, yet you ought to paintings complicated and there are outcomes that are no longer continually what you may think of". i'm uncertain if she's a stable function form for females 'everywhere', because of the fact exterior the U. S. issues are controlled in yet in a distinctive way. case in point, in Australia political applicants do no longer bypass by the long technique Obama and Clinton have merely continued, so issues are very distinctive. touching directly to her marriage, etc, her own existence is her very own employer, yet there is not any doubt she has raised a good daughter who's a effective guy or woman in her very own perfect, and additionally that she has close family individuals ties together with her family individuals. Cheers :-)

Yes on average most women are responsible and independent people. It's just a few like the ones you named that make us all look bad.

I disagree. I think the average woman works for a living and takes care of other people, leaving little time for her own needs.

Of course the Paris and Britney personas are only created as wishful thinking/ daily gossip/ what are the dumb blondes up to today fare.
Who benefits? Magazine and tabloid sales. Pictures peddlers. It is an industry.
One hundred percent of women (including those two) actually have brains and they use it to sustain them through their daily lives. Maybe we will never know what they really are in reality. If you think about it closely and examine the facts, this is their job, to provide fodder in the otherwise dreary and mundane
lives of people who cares about what they did today.
