I have been cheerleading in college since may of this year. I have enjoyed some parts but other parts are not so great. So far this year we have had 5 people get hurt. I am so afraid that I am going to be next. Also since class has started I am already starting to fail one of my favorite classes because I dont have time to study. And we haven't even started competition practice. Should I just wait it out until April or should I get out now before I die or fail all my classes?

Two different discussions -- I haven't heard about the injury problem in cheerleading. But that's one of the trade-offs involved here, just like playing a sport.

As for time, when I was in college I put in a lot of hours for the school newspaper. My grades actually went up during those years. Why? I had to learn time management. I had deadlines for newspaper stories, and deadlines for school, and I had to juggle them all. It might have been the best lesson I learned in college.

Obviously, if you get overwhelmed by the workload, cheerleading goes first. But think about how you are spending time, and see if you can be more efficient.
