I never used pampers cause they are like plastic I always used Huggies they are more like cloth like. Go with Huggies all the way. You can go wrong. I have 2 kids and with both it was huggies.

Your child will likely NOT notice a change in diaper brands the way he's likely to notice a change in his formula.
And actually, diaper brands can be a bit trial and error. We have personally experienced situations where one brand of diaper just was not working out right (either leaks or just general fit) and changed. We've had friends that have done the same. We've even has a situation where we were using Huggies and a friend was using Pampers. We were both having some sort of issue, and we both changed brands about the same time. You guessed it, we went to Pampers and they went to Huggies.
So the moral of the story is that you're asking for all these Pampers, but Huggies might be better for you. Luckily in your case, you will get to try out both. If you don't notice a difference, then you can stick with the cheaper one.
Of course your brand might still change as you child grows. Diapers that did just grate when all they did was lay on their back all day were just fine. But once they start crawling, you may find you need to change brands again.

I don't think it matters. Some babies have more sensitive skin and some brands can cause a rash. My 4 babies did better in Huggies and I did try Pampers. Pampers caused a rash every single time. Weird! This happened to my husband's sister's kids too - so maybe it was a family allergy?
Anyhow - you should be fine. It's not like switching formula. It really shouldn't affect your baby at all. If there's a problem, you'll notice a diaper rash within hours of putting the diaper on. Best Wishes!!!

Diapers are really a non-issue. The first time I was a mom I spent lots and lots of money on the most expensive diapers for my daughter. Now, 3 babies later, I've come to realize that that money was not spent wisely. Basically a diaper is just a piece of cloth that your baby is only going to pee in and poo in. So, keeping that in mind, buy the cheapest brand that does it's job and spend your money on other things for your baby that are worth it!
The tricky thing is finding the right economical brand that will work as well as the other brands. I have found that the walmart brand stands up to the more expensive ones and are half the price.

When I had my first son, I tried all kinds of diapers out trying to find a favorite...It doesnt hurt anything unless of course you buy the really cheap ones that can be scratchy and not breathable to baby's booty. But I would say if you have pampers and huggies, you will be safe switching on your baby.

It's shouldn't be a problem. Huggies is a good brand too. Since they go though so many diapers. I will buy the brand that is offering coupons or on sale. I hope this help

It is fine.
First of all someone above me said that
disposable diapers CAUSE a rash and
that is 100% false. UNCHANGED diapers
are the only thing that cause moisture
to irritate baby's skin.
My favorite diaper (and I've tried most brands)
hands down is the one sold just at Babies
R Us and Toys R Us, called "Especially for
Baby," "Supreme." Just try 1 small pack,
trust me you will love them. I wanted to stay in love
with Huggies, but these things are head and
shoulders above the rest. Very absorbent and
if you sleep through the night without a changed
diaper (happens sometimes ;-D) the diaper
doesn't leak NOR stink.
Yeah, no problem with trying new things.
With FOODS and formula, take Docs advice
which all boils down to: Watch the stools.
Watch your baby. Listen to your gut.
OHHH!! Love that baby!

It isn't a big deal at all. You will soon learn which diapers, regardless of name, will work best for your baby.
I would encourage you to shop around and see what works the best, it doesn't bother the baby any to change brands.
Just be careful, some brands can make a sensative skin really break out. It all just depends on your baby.

it all depends on how baby's skin is, my little girl was blessed with not so sensetive skin so we use the store brand diapers
but my nephew has very sensitive skin and i think they always used pampers
it probably wont be so bad to swich brands, only if baby has an allergic reaction to the huggies, but you wont know untill you try (if baby does have a reaction it may not be so bad, just put A&D ointment on it and it should clear up)
i guess you'll have to just try it out and see which ones go best with the wee one's skin
good luck!

It's shouldn't be a problem. It's not like changing formula, which can affect your baby's stomach and/or allergies.
It's smart to try different brands and find out which works best for you and your baby. Everyone's preference is different, and that's all diaper choice boils down to, is preference (unless the diaper gives your baby a rash!)
Good Luck and Congrats
