Sex on wooden floors= Sliding everywhere

well i live in a house that is over 150 years old and under the carpets are proper wooden floor boards in perfect condition...i have always had carpets because the house is so big and gets very cold in winter but since mine and my partners grand kids arrived i am thinking about taking the carpets up because they drop food and it gets trodden in so my carpets get ruined....all i need now is someone to come and lacquer the floors so i can get rid of the old carpets....alot of people are going for floorboards these days, it seems to be the in thing

I have wooden floors which is a godsend with the amount of human traffic that goes through my house. i would really prefer a nice deep carpet but the wood is easier to keep clean

Ive got carpets but I'm gonna change to wooden flooring as it's more stylish & I could overlook it when a visitor keeps there shoes on. Also I wont have to worry as much when someone spills they're drink etc on the floor!.

I have wooden floors through most of my house, and it's beautiful, but carpet in the bedroom, like to feel the thick pile under my bare feet.

To look at Wood,
To use, Carpet.
Depends on the room. Kitchens and bath I like ceramic tile.
Living spaces where I might sit on the floor, carpet.
Stepping on a cold wooden floor in the winter, not so nice.
Wooden Floors scratch and gouge..
All that being said, they do look nice!
