It depends on the tire. It should say on the sidewall of the spare.
I had a 1988 Ford EXP and I had to run on the spare, and even though it said a maximum of 75 miles, I think I ended up putting on 500 miles since I didn't have time to get it changed sooner.

You should be able to make it; most donuts are rated for at least seventy-five or a hundred miles AT SPEEDS LESS than fifty miles per hour!! Allow yourself about an hour's driving time and stay off the freeway.
If you're that worried about it, I'd suggest you take the blown tire and rim to the shop in somebody else's car, and then replacing the donut with the new tire.
Good luck!

I believe the safe answer is 30. However, having had several flat tires in the middle of nowhere I have gone beyond that without a problem. Just make sure the tire is in good shape (wear and tear wise) and the tire pressure is at the recommended amount. Spares require a lot more pressure that regular tires due to the size. It should be printed on the tire and in your owners manual and possibly on the inside of your car door.

sure, just keep your speed onder 50 mph and it should be just fine. Most donuts are rated for 50-75 miles at lower speeds. Check right on the sidewall of the donut and it will tell you what limitations are on that particular one.
