Why would he need to rent?

Rent or own what? Your question is not very explicit. In general, God is supreme. He owns the entire universe, and all power in heavens and on earth belongs to Him. Although He uses people (or sometimes animals) to accomplish or carry out His task, He does not lack anything.

God dosnt need to rent anything He owns everything you me the world the universe and so if anything you should rent from Him lol

If it's the god, as in jesus' daddy people seem to think he owns. If it is Allah, well he also is supposed to own I believe
If it is Zues, I'm not sure
If it is Buddah, he neither rents nor owns
If it is god (as in your own conscious that tells you right from wrong) , well you know whether or not you are renting or owning. If you are renting, I hope the best for you in owning one day soon. As for god, don't worry about he/she/it , because he's just waiting on us so he can say "whelp you didn't worship me and give your 10%, a couple of times you forgot to ask forgiveness for your sins. DOWN YOU GO! HA HA HA HA

He is on a lease purchase. Think about it. We are here, we are responsible for the care and upkeep of the world. If we mess it up, it is our responsibility to fix it. If he decides that he doesn't want us here anymore, he can cancel our lease and we are all in a world of hurt!
