Personally, I would tell the Canadians that if they ever need our help they will get the same number of US troops as they sent to Afghanistan.

Canada doesn't want anymore Americans in the arctic. There are American bases on Canadian soil, however those are in the process of being dissassembled. There is no need for them to be here. And actually allowing Americans into our arctic will do nothing but weaken our claim over the arctic because they are our biggest opposer in the whole arctic dispute.
And invading Canada would be the best thing that could ever happen to the states. They'd have everything they so desparately need...clean water, a **** load of oil and many other natural resources that are awaiting exploitation. But they can't and won't do that.

There's been a US military presence in Northern Canada for years. My father was stationed in Fort Churchill back in the 50s. As far as I know, there is still a small number of US military stationed in Canada. I guess if Canada doesn't want US help to keep the northern terroritories free of conflict, all they have to do is ask.

I get the feeling that deejay doesn't like us. We are not all scums...honest! I love Canada, almost as much as I love the US, and comparing it to our neighbor to the south, Canadians are brilliant and well able to take care of themselves. Matter of fact, I've been extolling the virtue of Canadians, and the free health care, to some of the illegal aliens who get released from jail, here in So. Calif. I tell them to keep on going north and just stop for water on the way through the USA.

Well probably some day since the plan is to annex Mexico and Canada and dissolve the U.S. after that is done then that will be added to the rest of the new world order. Where one moron controls it all. My bets are Osama Bin Laden will control it all, but he has been dead since Clinton was in office. It does not matter we have no control over what happens we are just all along for the ride.

Nope, not a chance.
As far as Canada is concerned, we can provide security over our own borders so there is no need for an American presence as well.
And if America ever tried to invade, it would turn into America vs the World as there isn't a single nation on Earth who would side with America in that war.

Oh no! So now Some Americans will start lobbying and demanding (God forbid) another war of aggression and occupation. Already the Us ambassador there said the Northern Passage is "International" (probably meaning "Inter-National", in other words, "Inter USA") water...
